Brazil: campaign to close notorious children’s detention centre
ChildHope is supporting our partner, Projeto Legal in Brazil, in their campaign to close down the notorious Santo Expedito juvenile Detention Centre in the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Justice - Sierra Leone style

Our New Patron - Hugh Fernely Whittingstall
We are delighted to welcome Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall as our new Patron. As well as his work as a writer, broadcaster and campaigner, Hugh is widely known for his commitment to seasonal, ethically produced food. His River Cottage TV series and cookbooks have earned him a huge popular following. Hugh is committed to supporting our work to secure social justice for children around the world.

We'll be launching a new online shop in the coming month and we'll be selling clothes and accessories with profits enabling us to continue supporting children Africa, Asia and South America. The competition we are running is to design a T-shirt. We will select a number of winning entries and
create a limited edition range of each design to sell online.
