Child Protection toolkit

for non-profit organisations

ChildHope's Child Protection Toolkit is a practical learning tool and set of resources designed for non-government organisations, particularly in Africa, Asia and South America, who are working to protect children. It aims to outline both the key principles relevant to Child Protection, and also the stages needed to develop, implement and evaluate Child Protection policies.

“I am happy that I have learnt how to make a child protection policy. I am also proud that my organisation will soon have one”.

Child Protection Training:

ChildHope has developed a number of training courses in relation to different aspects of organisational Child Protection and is also undertaking tailor-made training for a number of NGOs in the UK and in Africa, Asia and South America. If you are interested in receiving information about these courses please contact sandra@childhope.org.uk.

“Child Protection training is essential and relevant for anyone who works in an organisation that aims to protect vulnerable children. It made me question and evaluate how I deal with sensitive information in terms of identifying potential risks to a child’s safety.”
