We are delighted to announce that we will be starting a new four-year project focused on eradicating the worst forms of child labour in Peru.

What the project in Peru aims to do
The new children's project aims to protect thousands of boys and girls from the most abusive and dangerous forms of child labour. The charity aim to improve access to education and provide life skills and vocational training to children working in hazardous jobs in three areas of Peru: the coast (Lima), the highlands (Cusco) and the jungle (San Martin).

The project will promote the rights of child labourers engaged in dangerous work or at risk of abuse and exploitation, including girl domestic workers and children living in poor or rural communities. As a result of the new charity project, children will be better protected from exploitative work. The children will be better educated about their rights and issues faced by working children will be explained to their families, communities, teachers, employers and authorities.
