Ways you can support ChildHope:

Dates for your diary in 2014!

Could you Live Below the Line?

The challenge is to eat and drink for £1 a day, for 5 days, giving you a small glimpse in to the challenges and choices faced by those who live in extreme poverty every day. It is a fundraising and poverty awareness campaign. We'll be asking people in the UK to take up the challenge from 28th April - 2nd May 2014.

Why we do it!

Any type of challenge in life can be achieved if you have determination and a good reason why you are doing it. Here is a little reminder of how you can help Peruvian children like Arturo have the chance of a childhood...

No child should have to work instead of going to school.  But at 11 years old Arturo had to grow up quickly and help support his family in Peru.

"Things were tough at home and my mum struggled to support me and my sisters.  So, I stopped going to school and joined her working long hours at the local market.  We made enough money for food, but never enough to cover the costs of me going back to school.  Then I met someone from CESIP (ChildHope partner).  With their financial support I returned to school.  Now they are helping my mum improve her income and realise the importance of us going to school.  I'm so happy to be back in school and enjoy time with my friends".

With your help we can support children in Peru, who would otherwise be working, to return to school.  £30 will provide a loan so a mother can start a small business and afford to send her children to school. Can you help children like Arturo, donate today.

Our size and efficiency ensures we keep our costs exceptionally low. We are proud to say that in the last 3 years we spent 90% of our expenditure directly on our programmes that enable vulnerable children to enjoy a future free from abuse and injustice.
