Eathquake Damage

On Saturday 25th April a huge earthquake devastated Nepal. Over 6,200 people have lost their lives and many more have been left injured or made homeless.

The earthquake, the strongest Nepal has suffered in decades, has shattered communities and left many people living in rural areas completely cut off.

Our partner, Shakti Samuha is already on the ground working to get emergency aid kits to women and children in urgent need. In the regions that Shakti Samuha works, over 3,293 people have lost their lives.

"We are sleeping on the street at night in the cold and rain, with no electricity, water supply, medicine and food. Victims in the rural areas are suffering as the relief work by bigger agencies are focussing in Kathmandu city"

Please support our emergency response today.

ChildHope partner, Shakti Samuha is a local NGO run by women and child survivors of trafficking. Working since 1995, Shakti Samuha has been working in the poorest communities helping to keep women safe and make a united stand against traffickers.

Your donation will help rebuild someone's life from the ruins of this terrible disaster.

£10 can buy an emergency aid kit containing a blanket, food, first aid kit and water bottles for a family for a week.

Please, give what you can right now. Thank you.
