ChildHope's Executive Director, Emma Crewe, attended the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Excellence Volunteering Awards on behalf of ChildHope Treasurer and PWC employee, Helen Turnbull. The £2,000 award was presented in recognition of the outstanding support and financial expertise Helen has offered ChildHope staff within the UK and our overseas partner organisations.

Thank you to ChildHope's Trustee Helen Turnbull
Helen has supported staff with advice and training on financial accounting and reporting. Helen visited Sierra Leone to share her financial expertise with local staff. ChildHope would like to take the opportunity to thank Helen for her continued dedication and commitment to our work supporting vulnerable children. You can read more about Helen's experience in Sierra Leone by reading ChildHope's Child Rights in Action blog.
Support from the LATA Foundation
Last month ChildHope was also invited by the LATA Foundation to give a talk at the Peruvian Embassy about our work. The presentation focused on a new project in Peru which provides temporary care, food, recreation, and medical services for children and families affected by the recent flooding which wreaked havoc on communities causing a regional state of emergency to be declared.

We were delighted to be able to report on the great progress the project in Peru has made in the last few months thanks to the generous support provided by the LATA Foundation.
