The role holder will:
ChildHope works with children who are considered the ‘hardest to reach’ within their communities, often children who are living and working on the streets, on dumpsites, or in other high-risk contexts. ChildHope’s approach relies first and foremost on local partnerships. Our partners are committed to child rights and understand the context of children’s lives. They share our values and deliver programmes that change the lives of children for the better.
In response to the changing donor and international development environment, ChildHope is adapting to new funding approaches and income-raising mechanisms. As part of this, and harnessing the wealth of expertise of our global network of partners, we are building an international training and consultancy business, and have received a grant from Comic Relief to develop this with six of our partners.
This role will play a significant part in taking this project forward. Working closely with our Child Safeguarding and Participation Manger, Development Director, Executive Director and our partners in Africa, you will establish mechanisms to deliver high quality training and consultancy services and raise income through our consultancy business in the UK and internationally as well as explore and secure further funding opportunities to promote the long-term sustainability of ChildHope and our partners.
