The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) aims to increase the accountability and transparency of those who receive money for aid and international development by showing how and where it is spent. This will be done by publishing information on the IATI website and announcing this on organisational websites.
IATI will complement the information that ChildHope already makes available about our programmes in our published Annual Report and Financial Statements.
Donors, including the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) have committed to publishing data about work that they fund to meet the IATI reporting standard. In response, ChildHope is publishing information about our DFID-funded work in Ethiopia, India and Nepal on the IATI website and our website.
It is important that the information we publish does not harm the children and young people we aim to support and protect. Our Open Information Policy explains what information we will disclose and in what circumstances we will withhold information. This is available to download here.
ChildHope strives to be trustworthy and transparent, accountable to children, partners and donors alike.
